Junior Field Technician – Calgary

Digitex Canada Inc. is looking for an experienced, outgoing and responsible person with exceptional customer service, computer knowledge and multiple software platform experience. This is a position that demands attention to detail, time management, extraordinary customer service skills and teamwork. Digitex is an industry leader and one of Canada’s largest independent dealerships featuring the Canon, Sharp, Samsung Lexmark and HP product lines. The qualified candidate would need to exemplify the “Digitex Difference” in this competitive and fast paced field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Infield technical repairs of photocopiers, MFP’s and printers
  • Onsite installation of photocopiers, MFP’s and printers
  • Customer training
  • Trunk stock/inventory control

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES:

  • High School Diploma
  • A+, N+ or similar IT qualifications
  • Technical knowledge of electrical and/or electronics
  • Willingness to learn
  • Product and industry knowledge advantageous

Human Resource Professional – Red Deer

Digitex is a growing company recently expanding into Saskatchewan, and requires a Human Resource Professional to support the growth and changing needs of the organization. This position demands attention to detail, time management, teamwork, knowledge in labor law, human rights law in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, educated and work experience in the Human Resource field. Digitex is an industry leader and one of Canada’s largest independent dealerships featuring the Canon, Sharp, Samsung Lexmark and HP product lines. The qualified candidate would need to exemplify the “Digitex Difference” in this competitive and fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for preparing employee documentation including but not limited to; Offer letters, agreements, contracts, performance documents etc.
  • Managing the full cycle recruitment process including updating job descriptions, posting roles, interviewing and supporting post-selection processes.
  • Conducting on-boarding orientations for new hires.
  • Administer and maintain employee and general HR files, policy revisions and program updates.
  • Provide direction to managers and supervisors on employment related matter, as required.
  • Working closely with the payroll department.
  • Assist employees with interpretation of company policies and procedures providing a timely response to employees inquires.
  • Create and driving effective employee relations, retention and rewards programs.
  • Leading all health, safety and wellness initiatives as required ensuring compliance with OHSA.
  • Other Duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES:

  • Able to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resource position.
  • Working Knowledge in HR legislation and best practices in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
  • Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
  • Able to provide support to Managers and Employees.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time-management skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Self-starter.
  • Resourceful.
  • Ability to handle situations professionally with sensitivity, diplomacy and tact.
  • Strong screening and interviewing skills.
